After the Grand Event

Just a thank you to everyone,,,our detectives, my other team members, fellow contestants, and of course Simone, Hy, and Calico...It was a truly fun yet exhausting experience for 5 people who never met before to end up having such a wonderful event. From the mad science, to the food, the writer to my newly discovered sister and lover of greenhouses,,,,it was a magic night....

We Survived!

Our event was awesome. We needed another two hours but everyone understood our time limit. I learned a lot about catering, the crowd last nite gravitated to the drinks table, the food was hardly touched. One nice thing about SL catering is food keeps well in inventory and is only subject to loss from SL gremlins, not spoilage. Bite, my catering service, now has a building that is waiting on me to fill it full of goodies for SL events.

We were all exhausted when the Mystery Hunt was over, clean up was a lot easier than in real life though, just a few clicks and we were done. Our infamous author Arianna created a wonderful scenario for the mystery hunt, so creative and challenging. All of our team worked together to create a fun and exciting event for our Simone competition. Now we wait while the true mystery that is driving this competition is revealed, who will be chosen as the Simone Supermodels?

Shout Out

Here's a delayed shout out to Sasy Scarborough of Appearance Mode for announcing our event on her blog. It was greatly appreciated. It was also terrific to see and chat with our fellow Simone!Supermodels competitors. Good luck to everyone in the competition and keep watching for more fun events!

Ideas are overflowing, time is flying by, it's amazing what we're doing!!

As the time for our event draws near, I am REALLY getting excited. We have so many special things planned. I apoligze for not posting much but that is due to being overwhelmed with what must be done before Sunday. Here is a brief list of what I still must accomplish :)

1. Complete Murder Mystery Story
2. Create Murder Mystery Souvenirs for the Goody Bag
3. Create Murder Mystery Character Profiles
4. Submit Murdery Mystery Scavenger Hunt to SL Event Calendar

Already completed!

1. Murder Mystery Book Invitation

I REALLY love how this turned out. You click the book and it opens to the wonderful graphic that Daphne made for us :D Not only that! When you click it, you get a more detailed invitation? How cute is that??

2. Character Guide for Murder Mystery Story.

This was A LOT of fun to write so we could be in character during our event. It provides a script guide for the actors while giving them leeway to drop some hints on those who want to question them more closely. I LOVE how any of us could be the murderer :)

3. Special Character Titles Within Our Group

Now we can REALLY get into character as the mad scientist, the reclusive heiress and the eccentric novelist as well as many others. Keep an eye out for the titles when you attend the event!

4. Give Out Invitation to Popular SL Blogs

Got to get the publicity out and the other bloggers have been SO nice in accepting the invitation. So hopefully they'll post about it and we'll get some business :D

Well, Mr. Sparrow's Profile is going up now. Look out for one more tonight as well :D
